As most of you know, this past week the Sosebee Motorsports team - TopicsExpress

As most of you know, this past week the Sosebee Motorsports team was forced to sell the entire ASCS operation. The 2014 season just could not get off on the right foot for us. Week in and week out we put out a 110% effort and just continued to run in to one issue after another. It all started opening night with fuel delivery problems at Springfield Raceway and just never seemed to let up. Flipped the car at Double X Speedway, got driven in to the wall at US 36 the following week, ultimately capping off with damaging a motor at Lucas Oil Speedway on June 21st. Knowing we were going to be sitting out for most or all of the remaining races of the season, it brought us to a point that we had to make some serious changes and decide what would be best for us moving forward. As Sprint Car racing has been my biggest passion for as long as I could remember, it just finally got to a point where it was not financially feasable with the funding that we had available. So with careful consideration and many long nights of trying to figure out a way to salvage the dream, reality finally set in. The deal on the car was made last weekend and it is now in its new home getting a thorough once over and repairs being made. Thankfully I was able to make a deal with a close friend and will still be able to be around the car often. With all of that being said, I roll in to this weekend with a positive outlook on the future ahead. We are hoping to have some interesting news to share come Monday evening if everything goes as planned. If so, we should be able to be back at the track in just a few short weeks. If not, we will continue to plan and prepare for our next step, what it will be could still be up in the air. I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of you that continue to follow me as I live out this madness that I call a dream, without you there wouldnt be much of a reason for us racers to continue doing what we do. Also, this world is running low on racers and race fans just like you, so remember, the next time you talk to someone and they dont understand this whole deal we do, bring them to the races and show them what its all about. Also, I would like to thank each of my sponsors that have helped this whole deal keep going; The Mower Mechanic (Grandview, MO), Stonegate Mortgage, Infinity Shocks, Simpson Race Products, Advocare-Independent Distributor Mike Sosebee, and most importantly a very special friend of mine that helped me get back to doing all of this in the first place. Without her none of this would have ever been possible. I will never be able to repay her or thank her enough for what she has done for me and the dreams that she has helped me live, something I can and will charish the rest of my life. Thank you, Mike Sosebee
