As most of you know we are taking care of a very sick baby here in Honduras bc her mom cant afford to. So tonights question is about healthcare in America. Where is all the money going? Why are they so greedy? Last night I took Sayra to the clinic which was set up like a small ER. She was examined, given 3 breathing treatments, a shot in the butt, they attempted an IV twice with no luck and they prescribed another medicine. We also purchased 2 drinks on our bill... In America this probably would have cost $2000+. Here in Honduras it cost me about $35! Yes I said $35!!! And that was with NO INSURANCE!! The greed is crazy in America! On a side note... Could you imagine being poor Sayras mommy and not even being able to afford $35 to make sure her baby gets well? We are so thankful for so many of you who have chosen to support our family financially so that we can be here helping people like Sayra and her family! We are still looking for a few more monthly supporters so if you feel God leading please let us know! We need you as part of our team! :)
