As much as I hate to disagree with Larry Wilmore, Bill Cosby is innocent. Come on. Lets examine this for a little bit. First of all, most of the alleged cases are supposed to have taken place decades ago. Many of them are (allegedly) from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. No, I do not base whether or not I believe you about something on what private parts and 23rd pair of chromosomes you have. Waiting decade after decade to report something horribly traumatic such as a rape, something that must burn in your mind like a glowing hot wire to your forehead, every second you dont come forward, let alone minute, hour, and day, is by itself in the minus column on credibility. Hypothetically, I would also be disinclined to believe a male victim who waited that long to come forward, if he had the potential for financial gain from a civil case in the event that a criminal case cant be proven (and these women have that, big time). Its not that I trouble believing women in general, despite Wilmores argument in Episode 2. Also, the idea that Black males are predisposed to rape White females is the oldest and most vicious racial stereotype in the book. Combined with what I already explained, these accusers conveniently have the medias lazy tendency to accept stereotypes in the narrative very much on their side. Last but not least, he would have no need to drug them. A man as rich and popular as Cosby would have no trouble charming women in the heat of a moment. He could also afford to pay people to hold her down for him. No scenario exists where he would have to settle for an unconscious victim, if he were to commit a rape. If. The details that are claimed do not match the sheer social standing of this man. Combined with other matters explained above, this points to the conclusion that the rapes Cosby supposedly committed are fabrications. The whole thing simply fails the smell test.
