As much as this page is about celebrating this city, it is also about addressing the issues that hold it back. I know it is hard to talk about tough issues but it needs to be done. There are a lot of people suffering in this town even though some are doing well. Our community has been divided for a long time, whether you recognize it or not, and it would be great if we mended those bridges. That is the intention of this page, to give the voiceless a voice and to build community. It does require hard conversations and addressing touchy subjects. But it will make our community stronger in the long run. I can handle the criticism if you disagree but I encourage you to try to look past personal opinion and try to critically evaluate our city.
