As much as we are to look for the lost sheep as Christians and evangelize, we forget that are brothers and sisters in Christ are also going astray. We forget to encourage one another and to keep one another accountable for what they have done and what sins they have done. This does not mean attack them for sinning, no, but this means that as Christians we are suppose rebuke them with love. I believe that if we all know Christ and God we know love. For it says “That whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” in 1 john 4:8, for who are we not to love one another? Who are we to look after ourselves only when we can help our neighbor because we know His glory? God doesn’t choose you to be in certain situations for no reason at all. So your testimony is a weapon. As much as it may sound boring or may sound like it was the most gruesome testimony of life, it is what you use as a Christian to relate to people. I mean think about it, if people don’t know what you have been through then why would they believe that God is holy, and righteous and wonderful. There would be no reason to follow Him because we haven’t shown the world what He can do. So with your testimony does it not only relate to people of the world, but encourages other Christians. It keeps you remembering that He is always there, whether it is through the good or bad. Your testimony too is not just how you came to God, no, it is also what God has done for you. Testimony really is not to glorify anyone but God, so I encourage my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to keep strong in your faith.
