As my 3 day weekend is coming to a close, I completed my first - TopicsExpress

As my 3 day weekend is coming to a close, I completed my first Missouri State Fall Pistol Classic using my first Sig Sauer P228 with the larger 226 15 round magazines. Round count for me was approx 375 – 400 for 11 stages and chronograph. It was sure close in the chrono, using 9mm white box Winchester from Wally World and coming in with a 125.9 power factor barely making minor. Then on Saturday, photo taking day, I will be adding photos of some of the other female shooters. I asked for permission first, all agreed to allow their photos to be posted here on the page. A highlight of the weekend was the chance to meet and chat with Julie Golob. Big thanks to my squad members that are always willing to help out others. By visiting other stages, I had the opportunity to watch and learn from the pros. One common factor noted was the visualization of each target during the walk-thru. A very rare major malfunction occurred on a stage while there, a 40 S&W case separated locking the slide open and the gases partially blew out the end of the magazine out. Luckily that they were no injuries involved. On Sunday morning, the man on man pistol match was held and prize tables. I ended up with a couple of AR-15 mags and some Glock swag. A nap in the afternoon was needed before heading back to work on the photos editing over 1200 + down to 500. Access to all of the posted photos is available on the Central Ozarks Practical Shooters FB page.
