As my BAT friend Jo Marley says: This should be required reading for all Broad Superintendents. CHURN~DISRUPTION~CHAOS~CONFUSION…is dangerous to the welfare of children and their future longevity. Most American children come to school with their stress quotas at full tilt before their day even begins…education environments managed by the destructive BROAD doctrine directly hurt children, most especially children of financially distressed families, special ed, and those in culture shock…These dont need more unpredictable upheaval of school status quo that heightens fear and uncertainty…they need less. They need stable, consistent learning communities that nurture, soothe, calm and build confidence and trust. What more evidence do the reformers need? …or do they need eyes that see and hearts that feel…maybe THAT is the problem. Maybe the real problem is not the schools, but flagrant ignorance of MYOPIC Education Reform policy.
