As my tears flowed with understanding, while showering this morning and having a heart to heart talk with God, He clarified so much for me with regard to my son, Justin. He told me that I need to understand how many years my son has lived with pain and anger. That he had no outlets to cope with those other than to make very bad choices with regard to his health and safety. And that what Ive done now is place him in a safe environment, surrounded by people who care deeply for his healing. He told me Justin is just now beginning to realize that he has hit his rock bottom, bringing all the pain and anger to the surface but showing frustration at not being able to express himself with his inappropriate and hurtful behaviors. He now has to face those demons that have haunted him in the past. The best part of the whole conversation with my God was what He said to me, Have faith my child. I got this! He is in my capable, loving arms and I will direct his path to victory. Thank you Jesus for your unconditional love for us and for caring so deeply for this hurting child of mine (and His). I will stand by and let you do your wonderful work in him.
