As news has spread, I wanted to make an official post here so everyone knows what is going on. I have been offered a job to be the lead student pastor at First Baptist Church Grapevine, TX. On October 6th I will be accepting that job and begin my new journey there. I will be leading a great student ministry team that is hungry serve and love students and the Lord. God is doing some amazing things in that church and we are excited to be joining in there. First, I just want to THANK YOU, for loving me and my family and your commitment to the Lord. Thank you for all the encouragement and support and long days and hours loving students and loving Christ. The last few years have been incredible, God has grown me and stretched me to become more than I could ever imagine. I love what I do and I thank God every day that I get to do it. As we leave, we leave here good. Ministry is Good. Students are Good. Youth workers are Good. Parents are Good. Good things are happening here. This has made our decision that much harder. I have had sleepless nights of prayer and petition to the Lord, seeking wisdom and guidance. God has made it clear and has been in the middle of everything throughout this process. We know we are being obedient to Him. We are so sad to be leaving here. We love this church and we love all of you. Leaving will be hard. We are putting all of our trust and hope in Him who leads.
