As nominated by Aimée Egglestone here are the 10 books that have stayed with me throughout life. This challenge has only really highlighted how shamefully unwell read I am so if anyone would like to recommend some great works of literature for me to read I shall endeavour to (probably not) do so when I get time. (In no particular order) 1. 1984 - George Orwell 2. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (series) - Douglas Adams 3. Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk 4. Cirque Du Freak (The Saga of Darren Shan) - Darren Shan 5. Scott Pilgrims Precious Little Life (Series) - Bryan Lee OMalley 6. Charlottes Web - E.B. White 7. Green Eggs & Ham - Dr. Seuss 8. A Streetcar Named Desire - Tennessee Williams 9.The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Eric Carle 10. Go the F*ck To Sleep (Audio-book) - Adam Mansbach I think Ive only read numbers 2, 4, 5,10 and (sort of) 3 of my own volition, thats pretty bad. Id like to nominate Nathan Dalgleish, Daniel Watson, Lorenzo Samuel Servi Boni, Harry Stewart ONeill and Mark Goudie. I think video games replaced books as my primary source of cultural knowledge and moral teachings growing up therefore Im going to list a few games that could have ace novelizations (or movies). (In no particular order, again) 1. The Last of Us 2. Bioshock & Bioshock Infinite 3. The World Ends With You 4. Chrono Trigger 5. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch 6. The Legend of Zelda (series/franchise) 7. Kingdom Hearts (Series)
