As of 12/10 Im on this side of the Atlantic now (the side Columbus thought he discovered first (lol)...And I must say, besides the birth of my children, that was the best experience Ive ever had! I learned so many things. I thought our country was advanced, but were still living in the dark ages (especially in Texas) compared to Sweden. Their technology, public transportation system is tops. Not to mention --Sweden performs very well in many measures of well-being, as shown by the fact that it ranks among the top countries in a large number of topics in the Better Life Index- including employment, education, life expectancy, etc.. That said, my family is about to experience yet another exciting life event! My daughter Christina is in the process of giving birth to my grandson! Ive been low-key on the announcement of this great news only because Ive been respecting her wish not to blab it all over FB (you know how I like to share my joy - FB friends :-)--(shes not a celebrity like her mom and not used to the paparazzi- lol!!). But I cant contain my excitement anymore! I made it back right on time to share this beautiful and joyous experience (I cut it a little too close -- she started labor on the 12th, and due date the 14th-- but I made it!!) Best Christmas present ever! Prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Thank you 😀
