As of September 30, 2014, The Quilting Hen in Carter, Montana has closed it doors. I have been open for 15 years and have to say goodbye to all my quilting and sewing friends. Many of my loyal customers and loyal internet customers will be greatly missed. Because of you, this was a hopping and fun place to sew, visit, quilt, embroider and more. Our friendships have gotten us through illness, hard times, good times, loss of loved ones, loss of loved pets, adoptions, weddings, graduations, and more. I have received so much kindness and love from each one of you in many different ways. I will miss my ladies who shared many years with me. Patricia Meek was here 11 years! She is a saint! My little dog Nelson was here 8 years and will miss many of you as many visitors came in JUST to see Nelson - not me. The rest of the animals here will not know what to do without cars driving in and out of the farm. Best to each and everyone of you and PFAFF will put a dealer in Great Falls, Montana as soon as they are ready. You are welcome to visit Pfaff Dealer Locator to see who Pfaff has listed for Great Falls. In the meantime, you can contact Eli at Kingsbury Colony in Valer, Montana at 406-472-3330 as they will deliver Pfaff machines to the egg place in Great Falls or if you need service, you can drop off your machine there for pick up. I will not be attending Houston International Quilt Market as planned but will be taking a little road trip instead. Gary and I need a little time to ourselves. He has been the best for me from the first day I met him until the time I take my last breath on this earth. I am very lucky to have such a kind and gentle person in my life. Been married for 20 years and I still like him (I really do). It really seems like such a short time we have been together - I hope to have many more years of all the happy times. The Quilting Hen would like to close saying thank you for all the years together. Keep in touch and God Bless....Love, Diane Arganbright
