As our children head back to school and my clan puts a very tough - TopicsExpress

As our children head back to school and my clan puts a very tough school year firmly behind them and embarks on the 2014/2015 school year, here is my wish list. 1) As conflicts arise (they always do), parents will band together in a united front of leadership by example. Regardless of our backgrounds and beliefs we have a common thread, the love for our children and their wellbeing. I pray that that mutual love can bridge gaps to our childrens best intrest. 2) Mine was not the only family to experience difficulties last year, I pray for forgiveness. Many circumstances made for stressed relationships between parents, students and faculty. I pray that forgiveness is granted across all lines so that our children see an atmosphere of unity that gives them every possible advantage to excel. Anything less is only hurting our children. 3) I pray for a true NO tolerance policy towards bullying and intimidation, regardless of a childs background, name sake or financial standing. No one deserves to be robbed of their education. 4) I pray for the educators, that they have the tools they need to educate and that they are not held back from doing what they were called to do by political red tape. We have some of the finest teaching staff Ive ever seen, they need our support and cooperation. 5.) But most of all I pray that every parent/caregiver sees happiness in their childs eyes. That we see our children blossom and thrive and that they do this in a completely safe and fun environment. To every parent out there thats sat awake with the weight of worry over their childrens educational experience, youre not alone. We all have the same ultimate goal at heart. I have your back...please have mine. GOD BLESS EVERYONE OF YOU, PARENTS, EDUCATORS AND CHILDREN, TOGETHER WE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN 2014/2015!
