As part of the Countys efforts to protect the environment, keep groundwater clean and improve infrastructure, County Executive Ken Ulman has launched a new Sewer Connection Loan Program. The program is designed to encourage homeowners with septic systems, to connect to the County sewer lines adjacent to their properties. More than 700 properties in Howard County have access to sewer lines but continue to use septic disposal. Under the new program, Howard County will lend money for the plumbing costs and connection fees for homeowners who have access to sewer lines near their properties.
