As part of the Writer in Residence assignment in the Heliconian Club, I am inviting participants for the following workshop which is very moderately priced. We have only 5 seats open right now and it will be on a first come first serve basis: From IDEA TO FINISHED MANUSCRIPT A writing workshop for first time novelists and story-tellers presented by Professor Joyce Wayne, author of The Cook’s Temptation, and popular blogger at the Globe and Mail, “Living in Retirement” Sponsored by the Literature Section of the Heliconian Club of Toronto May 10, 2014, from 1.00 - 4.00 pm. She was the Director of The Sheridan Centre for Internationally Trained Individuals and a Member of the Board of Governors. Before that she was the staff writer at Quill & Quire magazine and an editorial director at McClelland & Stewart Publishers. She has an M.A. in English literature.
