As part of their Because I am a Girl campaign, Plan International is holding an International Day of the Girl Girls Takeover of Parliament to promote young womens leadership, participation and empowerment. They have assembled a delegation of young Australian women (including Anna Martins younger sister, Bridget, who looks much like Anna but taller). They will consult with girls around the country to find out what they see as the most important issues facing young women in Australia and around the world. The delegation will then write a Call to Action to be presented to parliament in Canberra.
