As promised I told everyone that I would give them an update on todays Final Hearing. To be completely honest I do not want to talk about the outcome of today. I feel the ruling made today WAS NOT in the best interest for Maddalyn, and I am doing what I need to do to make sure the best interest for Maddalyn is ruled on in the future. I do not wish to speak poorly of Shawn. He is a good person, and deserves to be a part of Maddalyns life, as I do. While some may consider him the better parent, I do not feel there is such a thing as a better parent. He and I are both amazing parents towards Maddalyn and that should be all that matters. With all of this being said, Shawn was granted everything he requested. While some may think that he has won today .. this is just the beginning. There is plenty to do from here on out. Look for more updates in the near future. Thank you to all of my friends who have texted, called, messages and wrote on Facebook. I am not ignoring you, and I love each and everyone of you. I probably havent responded to majority of you, and while I am not intentionally trying to ignore you, I just need some time to gather myself and my composure. Today was a rather rough for me and I had to do something I have never had to do today - represent myself. I am exhausted; emotionally and physically. I am trying to hold on to this Faith, my belief ... but with everything from today - it seems impossible. However, I will continue to strive in His name and in His path. I know He has a plan. I know He just wants me to fight harder for bigger and better outcomes. I know that. I hear you, Lord. I am doing just that and now more. Again, thank you to all of my friends.
