As promised, here is my update for everyone: This morning Jordy went for a head and chest scan and everything came back 100% perfect. His blood work continues to be on point and the nurses say he is very rowdy which means hes feeling good. Hes still on the vent for now but at 2pm, the plan is to lower it to the lowest setting and hopefully later tonight or tomorrow the vent will come out and he will switch to a C-Pap. Once that happens, he can get out of the incubator and we can hold him! He is also set to start eating today or tomorrow and even though we were once very against it had he been term, we decided to pump and breastfeed him because the doctor said breast milk is his ticket to coming home earlier. So anything for him! And.... He has a head full of curly dark hair which I am so in love with.
