As promised here is some more information about #ONF2015!! Dates are August 7th-10th here in Orlando Florida! Im going to do a stream with a chat soon to discuss all things and continue our tradition of event transparency because you are just as much a part of this show as I am! -Chozo More Info: Venue situation is as such: We have a few lined up to work with us that all have different pros/cons but our most important concern is matching the venue with the people that want to come out to the event. Larger venues cost us more money but have higher capacity. Stuff like that. Last years event cost us approximately $110,000 and quite obviously its not something that we can do every year without much higher attendance or sponsors that help cover those costs. Huge shout out to Charles Chuck Silver of Sci-Fried. You may not know this, but he funded damn near the entirety of #ONF2014 completely out of pocket. This man is god-tier when it comes to supporting the nerd music scene, and should forever be known as such. ALWAYS SUPPORT SCI-FRIED because without them and every member of that bands work at the show it never would have been possible. That said our cost breakdown for venue ($45,000) and production ($25,000) needs to be stripped. Luckily this is very doable with the right venue and in a worst case scenario we own a massive sound system that we can implement just about anywhere. Our main concern is obviously being able to continue having the show, and were definitely progressive and adaptive enough to do ridiculously amazing things to keep everyone around the world entertained. I think making decisions to keep doing what it takes to continue these shows far into the future is everyones desire. Am I right? TEAM ONF has got your back and will always do what we can to provide fans with awesome music, and provide artists with amazing fans, with a focus on the music and as we grow bring along as much cool stuff as absolutely possible.
