As promised, parts 1 - 4 :) #Romeo A GIRLS FIRST HAMO LOVE - Part 1 - My dad and I had a trip planned to Samoa for my cousins shotgun wedding. I was to be a bridesmaid.Dad the MC. You know how the typical samoa love story begins.lol. It was the year 2005 month of July. I was a kaukalaikiki (cheeky) 14 at the time. I had a cousin who was like my best friend, my partner in crime awaiting my arrival to run a muck around the village and for sure we did. So we got home said our hellos and off me and my cousin lets call her sina went to aoga aso sa kaalogas (sunday school games). There I was little miss Fia aulelei faakoa puga ese mai le vaalele ma loga ofu Von Dutch (miss wannabe pretty just got off the plane with her Von Dutch clothes) I was top shaz.lol ( so I thought ) . So after sweating it off at the kaalogas (games) Sina Hardout showing me off to her friends we went home , I started walking with my lil cousins while I let Sina be kaukalaikiks (cheeky) with her bf And thats when I first saw John, he kept staring then whispering to Maleko Sinas bf, osh I just gave them evils not thinking much of them, We got home showered waiting for family Loku (devotion). Sitting on the tuugamau (grave) Sina turns to me with those moeps eyes Vaai si ou kei le iai lesi Kama le fia Alu iai oe (cuz, theres a guy that likes you) sitting there shocked I was like but Sina I just got here a few hours ago, you telling me he likes me already ae . Lol . You know the drill them fuis on it already its like claiming the outsider before someone else does. So I was like o ai le igoa si Kama? E aulelei? Ima fuki ur ulu if hes ugly (whats his name? Is he nice looking? Ima pull your hair if hes ugly) Sina turns to me and says his name is John . Never did I ever imagine that from this moment this person name John would change my life. PART 2 John was best friends with Sinas boyfriend Maleko. He wasnt good looking but short muscly with real nice light brown eyes. Wedding day came he hadnt come and introd himself properly yet reckons come sneak up behind me and pull on my dress so I could move closer to him. Seki a Lou ofu.. E fai sou uo i Niu Sila? (nice dress. do you have a bf back in NZ?) I cracked up laughing all kaukalaikiks I turned to him and I shook my head. My dad calls out to me and Sina whose playing with Maleko so we run back but promise the boys well see them later . The wedding had finished, we were at home hanging with my boy cousins. They ended up grilling me about John , do I like him? That I shouldnt hes not good enough blah blah but for some reason I wanted to be his friend (hes the first boy whose liked me) . So there me and Sina are making dumb excuses to go to Malekos shop to see them . We run off and of course the boys are there waiting for us. We walk up and down the village , John slowly holds my hand and turns to me and says in his fobby accent u plus me friend kaua ogay how could I not agree in my kaukalaiki state . We started well dating if thats what u call it from that day on, he would meet me at the shops buy me a ice pop and then wed hang after hours with Sina and Maleko , man I was falling for John. One night John kissed my cheek and I thought life couldnt any better Nek minut uncle was waiting for Sina and I at home ..... With his belt. Se damn it. PART 3 Lana O John o se Kama leaga, Kama fiafia I le pulu lolthere I was little moeps getting a lecture on boys from a drunk uncle. I dint understand what the problem was with a guy who liked bubblegum(I found out what pulu was later) After he fasi Sina of course. I vowed never to talk to John again but thanks to brick nokias He called. I was leaving the next day I had to say goodbye over the phone. Promising Id never forgot him and Id visit him soon. I came home back to nz and cried for my John. So it was a few weeks since being home when Sina called me telling me someone wanted to talk to me , Im like hello? Malo teine osh I started crying like someone died it was John. I use to save up my lunch money to buy credit to call my overseas lover. Got even more excited when my parents told me we going back to samoa for an unveiling. Yay over the moon get to see my John December 2005 after missing Samoa I was back in my element back to my John. Sina and Maleko werent together anymore too. When we landed we drove home Sina telling me John has been bugging her to tell him when Im there. So I texted him hi Tama I made Sina take me to the shop and thats when I arrived home, in his arms again. PART 4 We hung out every chance we got dodging the paparazzi, hanging out up all over the village, meeting up at the Makeki, sitting on him on the bus home haha , oh man I was on cloud 9 with John. I loved him and he loved me.My family knew Sina and I were up to no good but just let us be until.... Sina and I were sitting in front of the house John came and joined and sat at my feet , we were just talking Nek minut Lana o ai lega? Oh shaz its my uncle again the same one who lectured me about John. Aikae ese mai le keige! He shouted John slowly stood up and left me there crying , I dont know if it was tears of shame or tears of teine heartbroken lol we stopped hanging out for a bit until my last week of holidays. John knew I was leaving him and we couldnt stay away from each other. Thats when he started writing me letters, confessed his love his hopes that him and I were to stay forever together. Sina and I ran off on our parents and meet up with the boys sneaking around the village lol. Tonight felt different , as soon as I saw John he kissed me hello and said he wanted to ask me something , his friends kept bugging him until he turned to me and said I love u Lana. Ka o ka Eva i kua i o le oh hell nah this nigga be asking me for the dirties. I kindly rejected and said John I love u , this trip has been the best because of you but you are asking for too much Im still young. He must of been shattered the horny idiot but hell nah was I breaking my v card. Lol It was time to leave Samoa again, John and I planned to keep in touch, oh man did I miss him not knowing when I would return to him but our love would conquer all ? Or so I thought. John wrote me a letter to say bye he even brought me a ring from the Makeki with the letter J on it to be continued ...
