As requested by Karen Phillips 7 things you might not know about me. 1. I have been a Brownie Guider for almost 30 years and was the voluntary Chair for Marketing and Communications for Girlguiding London and South East England for 4 (I think) years. 2. In 1994 I spent the day working with Ant and Dec at a childrens hospital in Birmingham after they delivered a giant banana split to the children in a publicity stunt for my nightclub. They were exactly then as they appear now on screen - absolutely lovely and very very funny. 3. For many years I had a tortoise named Rocket (originally owned by Ian Gilbys dad and called Rocky, but I mis-heard his name and he ended up renamed). 4. One for the older folk .. I went out with Mark Burgis (Stewpot from Grangehill) for a while in the mid 80s. He is actually very nice before everyone starts taking the p. 5. I had a university place to become a teacher but was unable to take them up on their offer when my dad died. I then spent the next 33 years wishing I had a degree, getting a degree, wanting to become a teacher, and now I sort of am. 6. ITake That (the real Take That) used to appear at the kids session at the club I worked in for £50 petrol money (between them) and burger and chips each .... before they were famous, obviously. 7. I dont regret anything that happened in my life before 2007, anything I changed would have meant I wouldnt have Scott.
