As required by the RiverStone Church Bylaws, Article IX, Section 1, Paragraph D, a Special Conference (two minute vote) will be held immediately after service on next Sunday, 21 July 2013. The current members of the Senior Pastor Search Team (Chairman of Deacons – Mike Akins; Chairman of the Personnel Team – Alan Nelson; and Chairman of the Finance Team – Art Horn) will be presenting five (5) candidate to RiverStone for a vote of confirmation per the aforementioned reference of the RiverStone Bylaws, dated 1 June 2010. The nominations are as follows in alphabetical order: Diana Alloco Billie Carr (Alternate) Bill Hayes (Alternate) Jim Holder Rhonda Parrish Article IX (Elections/Rotations); Section 1 (Elections); Paragraph D reads: The Senior Pastor Search Team will be comprised of the Chairman of Deacons, Chairman of Missions Team, Chairman of the Personnel Team, Chairman of the Finance Team, and three (3) people elected at large by the Church in Special Conference. Two (2) alternates will be chosen if for any reason a vacancy occurs. Please note, as of the date of this email, RiverStone does not have an acting Chairman of Missions.
