As riders we must never ever stop in what I call the kill-zone or the crush-zone. Never ever stop behind any vehicle, or in front of any vehicle for that matter, but rather filter up alongside it or at least stop off to the side of it so as not to place yourself in a crush or rear-end collision “kill-zone” position. Thankfully all of these riders appear to understand this, and it saved their lives! Also notice the scumbag in the other big truck at the beginning crossing over into the rider’s lane head-on prior to this accident. Please stay safe out there brothers and sisters, and never ever stop inside of a crush or rear-end collision” zone! Never stop in the center of a lane period, and always leave your bike in first gear and ready to move while checking your rear-view mirrors consistently for vehicles approaching from behind.
