As some of my friends and family already know, but to those who dont I no longer work at the animal shelter. Before the rumors start to fly, no Kay Turpin and myself didnt have a knock down drag out, she didnt karate chop me or anything like that! LOL Kay and myself will always be friends, and drive each other crazy like sisters. I gave 5 years of my life and hard work to our local shelter. I have accomplished so many thing, but there is always the side that no one sees. No matter how many dogs or cats I helped save, there are always the ones who were less fortunate and I had to take their life. It is something that I never took lightly, but did my job. I have finally came to the point it is no longer healthy for me or my family. I will still play an active roll in trying to save as many as we can, but the reality is there will always be more unwanted animals then homes. I have enjoyed serving my community, and I enjoy still getting updates on the ones who I have placed. Thanks for all the help and support during the past 5 years, and please continue to support your local shelter. :)
