As some of you know, I am a climate change researcher who uses a combination of photographic and scientific techniques to document environmental change in high mountain and Arctic regions. I have led projects in the Nepal Himalaya, Greenland, the Canadian Arctic, and the Rocky Mountains as well as numerous international assessments of environmental change in cold regions. I was recently accepted to The Banff Wilderness Photography Workshop at The Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada. Attending this workshop has been a dream of mine for years, as it provides a unique opportunity to learn from internationally acclaimed photographers accomplished in shooting in remote and demanding environments.
