As some of you know, Im going to be the guest on Artistic Awareness this week. Artistic Awareness is an awesome new web series that explores the things that we, as artists, grapple with. When asked what topic I wanted to discuss, I decided to talk about fear, because I think fear is the single-largest obstacle keeping people back from living their dreams. And though I chose the topic because of its relevance to artists, I also picked it because I think its something that all of us struggle with every day - from insecurities and fears of inadequacy to fear of failure and of the future. So Id love to hear from you guys so that I can work some of these into the show: What fear impacts your work the most, and how? What are some examples of rational fears that could actually improve your work? What are some examples of fears you have conquered, and how did you overcome them? And what would you do if you werent afraid to do it? The show will air live on Sunday (January 26th at 7 PM EST) and will also be available on the Artistic Awareness Youtube channel afterwards.
