As some of you may know, I suffered a bad knee injury in September - TopicsExpress

As some of you may know, I suffered a bad knee injury in September which will stop me playing football for the foreseeable future. With this in mind, Ive signed up for a series of 6 endurance challenges in 2015, totaling over 260 miles (of running, obstacle events, road biking, mountain biking, swimming and kayaking) starting in August to give myself a goal and something to train for. Ive done events similar these before, but Ive never attempted anything back to back, across 2 days or anything that covers many disciplines in one event. It wouldnt be right to do this and not do some fundraising at the same time, so Ill doing this in aid of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, the cancer charity set up by Sir Bobby, with over £2.25 million raised to date. Ill be roping as many of you as I humanly can to do these events with me - Ill need some company on a lonely uphill run in the Scottish Highlands! If anyone wants to have a look at the events, the links are below: Total Warrior - totalwarrior.co.uk Bike For Bobby - bikeforbobby River Rat Race - stocktonriverratrace Coast to Coast - ratracecoasttocoast Tough Guy - toughguy.co.uk/#tg10k-october/c1rtl Survival of the Fittest - mhsurvival.co.uk/manchester/ The tin-jangling will not begin in earnest yet - its still a fair way away, however if anyone wants to donate now (via JustGiving - https://justgiving/Mark-Hammill1) it would be massively appreciated. Please give generously - this is a brilliant cause set up by a brilliant man.
