As somebody that just graduated, its scary sometimes to think of everything ahead, especially the cost of it all. Its suddenly a ton of freedom and responsibility to tackle, and that can really add up. Weve all heard the stories about broke students in debt, struggling to pay it all back because they have to balance a part time job with their education. Luckily, with the right people in the right places, our generation wont have to worry as much. The CST (Canada Social Transfer) and other transfer payments have significantly increased while under the Conservative Government, which will help the government fund post secondary education, lowering our tuitions. Brad also wants to try and create a bigger grace period for paying back student loans, so people our age can really try to hit the ground running. With all of this in place, we will all have less to worry about when it comes to be our turn to make stable lives for ourselves. I know a lot of people starting post secondary soon arent even 18 yet, but that doesnt mean you cant play a part in setting up your future.
