As somebody who has worked for 25 years with people who have the most profound and multiple disabilities I have had the privilege to meet some of the most wonderful people, who I am sure many in society would have seen as a burden and of no worth. Without them my life would be very much poorer, and I would not be the person that I am today and I cannot express how grateful I am for having had the chance to be part of their lives.
