As sweet as tupelo honey . . . . Music and words sung with emotional expression. This is the safest most important high that human kind has. Popular music is modern kind’s meditations. That is if we choose to be responsible and honest. I state this because humans also turn their darkness to popular music. All the nay-Sayers be dammed; cadence, music and words are human magic, which resonate inside our thoughts, memories and emotions. It feels natural to our primitive core, to which our DNA controls, and effects and or supports our behaviour and actions, which we outwardly express in ways both uplifting and harmful. This is part of our design. Freedom and freewill are inspired (in part) by music that mirrors philological and psychological mind-sets and desires, wants and needs. (Val Cartledge, in a commentary)
