As teachers often spend their own hard-earned money on school supplies for their classrooms, they also will benefit from #StufftheBus on the first day of school. Volunteers will deliver boxes filled with teacher’s supplies to all teachers at the seven schools (approximately 200 Metro Nashville Public Schools teachers), up from 60 in 2013. This not only allows the children to begin learning right away, but it allows teachers to begin teaching immediately and focus on the students’ education. #MNPSDay1
