As technology grows we settle into it. Sometimes it blows my mind. The things that seem so simple and ordinary now to a generation younger than myself. Even though I am only 25. I have experienced a hill in technology. I was playing on my iPad and decided to rent a movie while laying in bed. So I opened my VUDU app, and rented a new release for $3.99. With VERY little effort. And it begins playing immediately. I couldnt help but think back to when I was 16 and working at Movie Gallery. A time before smart TVs and tablets, a time before instant streaming. Where I would actually have to put forth effort in getting up off my ass and going into town to rent a movie. Then worry myself about getting it back the next day before 7pm. My son will never know what that was like. That small effort I had to put forth for 1.5 hours of entertainment. And honestly, that scares me a little. More and more effort is being taken out of this world. Another moral is, the world will continue to change. But we have no idea what those changes will be. We cant fathom it. So how do we prepare?
