As the 2014 General elections are coming close to finishing line, the UPA government has started making last ditch efforts to salvage its prospects in the final tally, by offering reservation sops to minorities and indulging in trifle allegation. Moreover, corruption being a key issue in this election has rendered the Indian National Congress campaign, ineffectual and an exercise in vain. The UPA should be mentally prepared to function as a responsible and constructive opposition in the 16th Lok Sabha.
