As the 3 month mark approaches since Bobcat died I got the courage to look at some of the videos i took while he was at VCA in Gaithersburg. Believe me when I say it took a lot for me to be able to watch. At the time I am pretty sure when he was at his sickest I only posted still pictures. I am not posting this to make anyone sad so if you feel it will be too traumatic please dont watch it. Bobcat and Billie Jo grew up in a world of love and I shared their lives with you all from the very beginning and I feel that it is fitting that you watch this not to see him at his sickest but so many of you will have an understanding of how devastating FIP is. We can all talk about it until we turn blue but seeing is believing and I want to first say that I pray none of you ever has to go through this. I also want you all to understand what FIP does to our little friends and I want you to get mad that the catfood companies have not supported the Winn Foundations Bria Fund for FIP research. I did a post right after Bobact died calling these companies out by their true corporate names but I will be cut and dry. I am calling you all out and I will not quit until you step up to the plate with your checkbooks. Companies like Purina, Friskies,Iams, Hills, Blue Buffalo, Whiskas,Meow Mix and others which I will gladly add to the post all talk about caring about the health and welfare of our cats.
