As the Board of Legislators deliberate on the decision on Playland Park, here are the concerns upon which I will base my vote: (1) the retention of jobs and youth employment in the Summer; (2) Playland is affordable and accessible to all county residents; (3) the retention and improvement of the rides and activity in the amusement park consistent with Playlands history; (4) adequate parking on the property to accommodate all activities; (5) the chosen developer(s) plan is financially sound and benefits county taxpayers including the mitigation of financial risks to the county. These requirements are not listed in any order of priority.
