As the General Chapter of the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters (SSpS) continues in Steyl, Holland, we invite you to join us as we pray once again for Gods blessing upon the Sisters and their deliberations! TRIUNE GOD, you are the center and source of all life and mission. As our SSpS Sisters celebrate their 14th General Chapter and the 125th anniversary of their Congregation, we thank you for your great love, a love that has brought our sister Congregation into existence. We are grateful for our Founding Generation and for our Sisters who have gone before us. Moved by their passion for Christ and humanity, they gave their lives for mission. DIVINE SPIRIT, we Divine Word Missionaries entrust to you the sacred event of the 14th SSpS General Chapter. May it be a time of deep listening to your voice. May it lead our Sisters and all of us to grow in being disciples filled with compassionate love and prophetic courage as we share stories of our journey together in mission, as we reflect on how to live our charism in our global and interconnected world, and as we discern congregational direction and leadership that will help us in our mission of sharing the Good News among peoples. SPIRIT OF LOVE, may the SSpS General Chapter be a new experience of Pentecost. Empower us to own Jesus’ mission as our mission. Help us in making justice, peace and integrity of creation our way of life.
