As the book of Psalms says: “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust”. We are totally dependent on You and on Your provision – and we rejoice! No man can defeat us. Help us to remain teachable, so we can be given Your wisdom. Help us to forever be students – never tiring of the wealth to be found in Your Word and its promises. Your Presence fills my heart as I pray. Your encouragement is being sent out to Your people as I pray. Your Holy Spirit is with us giving us wisdom, courage and the power to overcome – and we are grateful. For those who are struggling with the “same old struggles”, help them to see the danger they are in. Help them to see that these types of experiences can cause them to lose faith – and even become spiritually adrift. You have taught us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen”. Remind them that their hope is in You, and they can trust You for that which is unseen and look forward to the future reward You have planned for them You are mighty and unconquerable. Your greatness is beyond my human comprehension to understand - and Your everlasting nature shows me that You are capable of being all Your people need. To You be all the honor and the glory!
