As the deepening gloom falls on our nation, the Light will pierce the darkness more readily. O Christian, do not let your light fade, do not fear, do not meditate on the terrors of the approaching night, but shine forth ever brighter that many may see and glorify your Father in heaven. Brothers and sisters, be innocent in evil and wise in what is good. Whatever is right and noble, dwell on it, live in it, and make every effort to make Christ known by your words and your actions.
