As the holidays draw near, it will be the first Holiday Season - TopicsExpress

As the holidays draw near, it will be the first Holiday Season without my beautiful and dear mother Florence Aldridge who passed away from a massive brain aneurism back on April 29th, 2014. Its been a very hard 5 1/2 months since she has left this earth. I will always miss her and Love her forever! She was not just my mom, but would love me and support me unconditionally no matter what! Thats what mothers do, they love their children no matter what life challenges arise! Im doing ok, but still grieving her loss, which is natural. I think about her each and every day but what really got me threw the hardest nights after her death, was the Love of my family, friends and of course my beautiful and loving wife Julie Stair Aldridge, who was and has been by my side threw it all from the day I got that horrible and tragic phone call that my mother had passed away. I could not have done it without you Julie! You are my Very Best Friend, the Love of my life and I dont know what I would do without you! I Love You So Much!! Id also like to thank all my friends and family at First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, Florida, the City of Lakeland, FL (Government) and everyone at my old church First United Methodist Church of Lakeland (Florida) for being there for me! The memorial service in Lakeland back on July 22nd was AWESOME!! Id also like to say a special Thank You for everyone that was involved with the putting together of the service, Glory Stern, Dan Gordon, my Pastor, Mike Loudon and everyone else at 1st Pres Lakeland! Id also like to thank my uncle George Clarke, Aunt Jeanne Clarke, Cousin Gennifer Bradford and her husband and family for being there for me during the hard times! I Love You Guys So Much and dont know what Id do without you all! For those of you that have not yet seen it or have already, here is is again! The recent and most updated version of my moms memorial video I created for her. Its got a lot of pictures of her from her years in Lakeland with one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded by Josh Groban!! This song has really helped me threw the grieving process! Each and every time I listen to it, it brings tears to my eyes! Be sure to have kleenex with you when you watch it and listen to the song! This is dedicated to my sweet mother Flo! Whatever you do, be sure to tell your family, wife, husband, friend, brother, sister, whoever, that you Love Them! Life is to short! May God Bless You Mom! I Will Always Miss and Love You Forever!
