As the raindrops trickled down her window panes, her mind raced back to the moments she had spent with him. She was a shy and introvert geek. He had a mischevious exuberance. She would go home sraight after school. He, would hang out with his buddies. In no aspect did they share any similarities, but as it is said - Opposites attract. Both of them admired each other but couldnt summon the courage to confess it. On a boring Monday, after the school bell rang to call the day off, it rained. She was struggling to keep herself dry under her umbrella while he was purposely kicking into puddles. One such kick created a huge splash and spoilt her uniform! She was furious and turned to face the rogue. But when her eyes met his, her fury just melted away. Instead of apologising, he yanked away her umbrella and said, Come on! A little rain wont harm you! And laughed adorably. Thereafter, she enjoyed many such rainy days without the umbrella at his behest. After all, the way he embraced her before dropping her home was enough to keep atleast her heart warm. -Alfaaz ( A page reader )
