As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. In this staged setting demonstrating domestic abuse against a woman, then towards a man, the evidence of gender bias is astounding. Passers by stopped to intervene in the roleplay of violence against the woman. While passersby completing ignored and some even laughed of the woman physically assaulting the man. According to The Public Interest, a not-for-profit social study in the UK, men represent 40% of reported cases suffering from DV. No violence is acceptable, although its evident that men have to suffer it gladly. I for one cannot stomach the hypocrisy which is why I wont support or raise funds for any violence initiative that is one-eyed to the greater problem.
