As the (super) full moon rises, we give Thanks and Blessings of Light, Life, Love, Compassion, Healing, Grace, Joy, Creativity, Harmony, and Peace to all who participated and supported in any way the Susquehanna River Honor Journey... 2013. We have completed the journey for this year, although the real Honor Journey has just begun. The River is the source of Life in this region for countless generations and cultures of people; and long before and after people, entire ecosystems of fish, tree, bird, plant, insect, animal, and microbial life. We are no different. We need the River to live. Before the days of dams and industry, the River was a pristine, resilient, natural filter for all that passed through her. We, human beings, are solely responsible for the unhealthy condition of much of the Susquehanna, and it is up to us to curb and stop our unhealthy ways that continue to pollute the River more and more everyday. The Susquehanna River Honor Journey will continue to celebrate and honor the spirit of good stewardship of the River and all Life on this planet, today and everyday to come... We Honor the River, We Honor All Life! We Honor the River, We Honor All Life!.. Looking forward to the year ahead and the Susquehanna River Honor Journey 2014!!!
