As the weather heats up, so is the action at Fleetwood Speedway. Again this week we had 5 races and 5 different winners. Al Tasnady 39 (Steve S) picked up the win in the first modified feature over Jeff Strunk 357 (Scottie) and the Dave Fegley 4. John Willman 74w (Troy Z) made his first start at Fleetwood Speedway finished 4th and Billy Pauch 126 (Ed R) finished 5th. The sprint feature was won by Phil Valle 1HT over Stevie Smith 19 (Steve K). Steve Serba 24 finished 3rd ahead of Lucas Wolfe 5w (Noah G) and Scottie Kline #10. Second modified feature had 2 qualifying heats won by Richie Tobias 17 (Scooter) and Dave Walker #1. In the feature, Stan Ploski 27 of first time racer at Fleetwood Speedway (Brent R) pulled off the win ahead of Jimmy Phelps 99j (Dave B). Richie Tobias 17 (Scooter) finished 3rd ahead of CD Coville 61 (Scottie) and Steve Paine 7x (Steve K). The Tijuana Taxi #7 (Chico) picked up his first street stock win over Gerry Chamberlain 76 (Steve S). Dick Brooks 90 (Fegley) and Ed Reifinger 9 ended in a photo finish for third. Buzzie Reutimann 00 (Steve S) rounded out the top 5. The nightcap modified feature was won by Johnny Strupp 3 (Phil) over Dave Walker #1 and Jeromy Guistwite 04 (Ed G). Larry Solomon 517 (Dave B) and Kenny Brightbill 19 (Chico) finished 4th and 5th respectively. Racing will again be presented Sunday at Fleetwood Speedway with practice at 3pm and racing at 4pm.
