As the week of Thanksgiving arrives I feel the need to mention, so many people upset that retail stores will be open on Thanksgiving when employees should be with their families? This is a new trend - and I understand retail trying to increase revenue - but what about all of the people for years that have worked in hospitality service, restaurants, hotels etc... We are there with a smile on and working so that someone else can enjoy their holiday with their family.....there is a lot of us out there that will work Thanksgiving so that others can enjoy - it is the season of giving and I see it as something I can do to lift someone elses spirit and make their celebration a little bit easier!! Dont get me wrong I would love to be with my family that day but we all need to make some sacrifices for the good of others... Just my thought for the week!!
