As this weekend comes to an end, I want to once again take this opportunity to thank Our Lord and Savior for allowing us to have our beloved mother with us 9 months after her stroke--we are grateful for the countless prayers that have bestowed by hundreds of people out there--and for the literally thousands of text messages, FB posts, private messages, emails, phone call, cards, letters, visits, and other communications, as my family struggled throughout the early months. We are grateful for the folks who have been writing to us their amazing words of love, prayer, and support. We have learned to take life one day at a time--to enjoy our moments together--to stop and smell the roses along the way--and giving thanks and praise to God for surrounding us with so many angels. Thank you--each and every one of you--for allowing us to be a part of your life. We are deeply honored and grateful for the time that you have given to our family. On a personal note--to all those whose mothers are still alive--I urge you to call her this week--tell her you love her. Dont wait for her birthday or Mothers Day. When your mom is alive--every day is Mothers Day. Thank you. God bless you. --GQ
