As today is a day of reflection, I still remember this day 13 years ago.... The shock of such a tragedy that hit our nation is something that will never be forgotten... It hit so close to home, since I was in New York when it happened. Watching the planes hit the towers seemed so unreal as if I was watching a movie. Unfortunately, it wasnt and all I could do and still do is cry. Knowing all the lives that were lost and a few close friends as well. As my parents were on the NYPD at the time and on duty... My heart dropped and filled with worry knowing they were out there... My heart sunk even further once I found out how my mom was there and sadly heard as her fellow coworkers were over taken by the debris and smoke... To hear people, close people you deal with dying over the walkie talkie was a tragedy in itself... All the lost souls and broken families, my heart goes out to you. My prayers, condolences and blessings will continue to be showered your way. Time has passed but they all will forever be remembered... Gone buy never Forgotten... 9-11-01 May u all be at peace....
