As two souls meet a short tale by Stu. He was walking along the street, it was about ten oclock in the evening. It had been a long day, international colleges had been in communication and he was somewhat fatigued from the work he had been doing, especially on a weekend and required the grace of Human contact. As he daydreamed, aimlessly; on his way to somewhere, nowhere in particular, passing people, and laughter along the way, he came to a cross roads with many people chatting outside a pizza delivery shop, the smell of the Pizza caught his attention along with the joy and the laughter of other people out for a night. Suddenly an energy spike, something almost touched him, a wave of excitement all mixed with a sprinkle of love, where did that come from? he asked him self. A voice from behind him called out his name. It was a female voice, one he recognised, one that his heart knew was that of a previous lover. As his heart rate quickened, he turned expediently on the spot to face the reverse direction, there she was, companions in toe, two shady looking characters both male. They had obviously been out together and on their way home, but he was just on his way out and energised further for just noticing her. A knowing manifested before their very eyes. It was as if the whole universe had stopped! In this moment two lovers had passed each other, noticed each other, beckoned each other, kissed each other, held each other, missed each other, all in a moment of awareness, nothing more than each others presence and all in a single second, a rush of emotions of feelings of memories. As they both smiled joyously, in the now, they rushed to each other, held each other tightly in their arms, gripping each other like a long lost family member having a reunion after many years apart, nothing else existed but each others love, their attention was only for each other, they felt an immense attraction, passion flowed through them like electricity, so much so that people stopped a brief time in the street to smile or disapprove of such public affection and move on. It had been a good few years since they had last even spoken, yet alone seen each other, good ole fate had, without warning, somehow synchronously bought them together again, in this moment, at this time, right now. As they got close enough to touch. they caressed each other passionately, their energy rose way up high, beaming smiles and a grateful glow become them, they had so it seemed found each other once again, that love at first sight moment. They stepped back from one another, held each others hands and smiled. Lets go for a drink he said to her excitedly I was heading out to chill, come on lets go have some fun he said looking her deep in the eyes, she had glorious eyes, deep brown in colour, the windows to the soul they say, and hers was angelic, beautiful, like nothing he had ever witnessed. He gripped her by the hand and led her off for a night on the town. They danced, and drank and sung and laughed and danced some more till the early hours. As the bars started to close and the people wander home, they kissed each other and headed back to his place for coffee. Along the way home, they looked up into the nights sky, the full moon shone her light down on them, the stars twinkled little rays of love directly to their hearts. He pulled her into his shoulder, kissing her upon the side of her head, he breaths her in, as his lips part from her soft skin he says Ive missed you baby and smiles, their eyes meet, they stop, turn, she pulls him in closer to her, kisses him all over his face then grips him tightly as if to never let go.
