As uncomfortable as it can be sometimes, I love sleeping with my toddler. Sure she kicks and smacks me, pushes me to the edges of the bed, gets her hair in my mouth, snores like her daddy... But when she curls up in the curve of my back, cold little hands and feet, or pulls my arm around her and places my hand *just so* on her head... It fills my whole heart. Makes me grateful for motherhood. MashaAllah. I didnt get to snuggle and love all of my kids through toddlerhood, because some came into my life much later, but hugging one reminds you of how much you love the others. I pretend I dont want their endless barrage of hugs, lol (stop hanging on me you dorks, go do your chores!), but it reminds me that I adore each and everyone of them... And never lets me forget that I am loved. Al hamdulillah for a family that loves. I am blessed.
