As usual, another unusual project showed up, for Winter-build. Yamaha XS650 twin, with roots to the 1955 500cc Hosk, itself based on the earlier Horex 400cc twin. So, stretching this one to well over double its original design, will be fun. Euro sidecar MX lunatics run 880cc+ versions. Ill be tossing a decent amount more stroke to that, rephasing the crank to 90-degrees, smoothing the balance and giving it an Italian note to the exhaust.
