As usual you have managed to tell almost half of the story and are working very hard to mislead those that will read this story. As a citizen of Coppell ISD and former board member, I have been following these issues closely and find that your summary is grossly overstated, factually incorrect on many issues and obviously intended to create an artificial crisis or outrage. As a conservative, I fully support local control of our public schools and believe that the elected trustees are the government that is closest to the taxpayers and parents that are concerned about these issues. It is not conservative, or necessary, for an Austin based lobby and special interest group to be injecting itself into local school board issues, the locally elected trustees, parents and taxpayers can and will direct the local schools to fit their local needs - without your interference.
